Now you are having a laugh! That can't be serious, it must just be a kiddies ride surely?

If a creationist really thinks dinosaurs were domesticated I think that is silly. I do remember fantastical cartoons from my childhood though that were along those same lines. Another possibility from the Chrisitan bible (which should not really be used here but this is just an anecdote): After the heavens and the earth were "created," the spirit of God hovered over the waters.............. And for how long? Billions of years maybe? This would fit into the old earth but still believe in the bible group. This is not science - just philisophical theory. Leave it or take it as it is.

Now you are having a laugh! That can't be serious, it must just be a kiddies ride surely? Deadly serious...apparently. Part of a display showing how man domesticated dinosaurs and used them as beasts of burden! Pictures of the larger display was posted on the old forum - the one with the children playing with the friendly, vegetarian T. rex!! Simon

What top level predators today are used as a beast of burden? Let's see, elephant, horse, cow, camel, llama, alpaca........ This is why the display must have suggested T Rex was a vegan. When have lions, tigers, or bears ever been domesticated? Dogs were not top level.

Simon, I am speechless! Where is the evidence for domesticated dinosaurs? Where are the recent bones? These people are in need of therapy!

Down here in the south we often ride alligators to work... kind of similar, although technically a ratite like an ostrich would be closer...

I have met a kasoar in Papua... Far more sympathic than a T. rex but I would never tried to jump on it. His legs may kill you in one movement...

Yes, Guiness book of world records lists the Cassowary (as we call it in the US) as the most deadly bird on earth. I've seen them only in aviaries and they are scary even behind wire- those evil looking eyes. It looks at you almost as though it *wants* to kick you.

Here is one Cassowary adult male with his little boy I have met on Biak island.
He is about 1,30 meter high ! and his legs are impressive !

Very cool, I'm jealous. My next security system will be a Cassowary. Wonder how it would look with a pedicure?
