Now, here's a novel alternative to the ole' trusty flyswatter. Currently available at your local Walmart store. Honestly, I saw this whilst I was there today ! For the unbelievable sum of $20+ change you can purchase one of these little "honey's" yourself (without a gun card); and in no time (summers coming); you'll be knock'em dead round the picnic gathering or barbeque. AND, the best yet is there's no splatter... No pulverized remains. No eviscerated husks lying about ! However, I would NOT recommend this handy device for the collection of Lepidoptera as your specimens may be shot full of holes (like those early birdwing butterfly captures) ! Get yours while they last... Plenty of ammo' to go round !

I have one of those, but a different brand. It's not very powerful. All it will kill is flies. Maybe this brand will kill bigger bugs, like roaches.

Here's mine. I've never managed to hit anything with it though.

Mine is like Bub's. I'm not surprised he hasn't hit anything with it. The range is very short.

I've got one of those too. I mostly use it on house flies and spiders, but I did manage to get a Polistes wasp with it once. They work pretty good once you get the aiming figured out.

Mine was a Father's day gift. I'm pretty hard to buy for, so I get some interesting gifts.

Only in America. I used to use a 6 shot rubber band gun for flies, but it did make a mess.
