I remember seeing the first creature in the second video on the internet a while back. Apparently it's a skinned cat (probably used for taxidermy). And besides, if mothman exists, why haven't we had any reported sightings from entomologists black-lighting?

Also, I don't think the Moth Man would come to any lights. Nothing paranormal ever does! They're denizens of the dark. Besides, these things travel between dimensions. That's why its so hard to track 'em!

same as trying to find an honest politician, they are SUPER hard to track down.

Not only do they travel between dimensions, but recently they are entering our realm more and more often through the rift in the time-space continuum commonly known as "PhotoShop". Also, after a little search on Wikipedia I found that I was wrong; it was identified as a raccoon. As far as the creature having a beak, if you look at a close up of the photo you will see that the creature is actually simply missing most of the teeth from the top row of its mouth. Honest politicians on the other hand are simply myths conjured up by society in order to console ourselves with the hope that our governments are not run entirely by morons, and that somewhere, somehow in Washington, a good man is doing something. But like I said, only a myth.

I find it odd that all of these mythical animals and beings- aliens, lycanthropes, chupacabras, yeti, mothman, sasquatch, etc. are seen by people who don't have a gun. Why don't they show up during hunting season?
Mothman in West Virginia, and nobody took a pop at him? I mean really, there were over 100 people who reported seeing mothman (and supposedly more who wouldn't report)...what's the odds that of 100 random people in WV (in 1966!) all of them don't have a gun- right, zero.
Not to say there are not unknowns. There's an unidentified butterfly on Guadalcanal (brown, probably nymphalid) that we had three times in two nets before it escaped for good. To date it's never been reported again (queue spooky music.)

Very true. I used to read books on cryptozoology and though I think some of the creatures may exist (I am not saying anything for certain until definitive proof is found or I see one for myself) I primarily read them for entertainment and not because I took the subject very seriously. Of course we of all people should know better than anyone that there are plenty of undiscovered creatures in existence, but that doesn't necessitate that the unknown must be extraterrestrial, supernatural, or paranormal.

I'll give you all an exclusive paranormal safari if you all would just come on down to Malaysia. I've seen these things with my own eyes which is why I believe in them. I don't see what's so hard to believe, either. Its not like somebody's gonna hurt if you do so.
Malaysia has plenty of it's own paranormal creatures... Pontianak, toyol, pochong, penanggalan, orang kenit... take your pick! The jungles are their home... Being a butterfly and moth collector, the jungle can be very well said my second home... and I've seen plenty of it's residents.

I don't think people here will argue that something unknown, maybe sentinent, maybe humanoid, exists today.
Keeping in mind that the gorilla wasn't scientifically recognized until 1847, only nine years before ornithoptera victoria!
But the plethora of garbage reports undermines the possible reality. Take the skunk ape in Florida- reported in residential areas, rooting through garbage bins, yet nobody has hit one with a car or shot one. Highly unlikely.
Yes, there are strange things about, I've seen some myself, and heard reputable eye witness reports. In one case, the reporter thought they had seen a UFO (which, to them, it was) but upon hearing the detailed description, it was clearly a US-made helicopter.
The world has plenty of places to hide oddities- Vanuatu, Solomons, PNG, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. But most of them turn out, just like the gorilla, to be not paranormal, but really an incredible animal.

Assuming that you are serious Khalid, I believe that there are quite a few television shows here in the United States that would like to take you up on that offer. It seems like every other series on the History channel and Discovery channel these days involves in some way aliens, cryptozoological organisms, or the paranormal. By the way, which of these paranormal creatures do you believe to have seen? After doing a Wikipedia search I found most of the creatures you listed to pretty much be undead humans (except for the pochong, which does not appear to be on Wikipedia), similar to western zombie and vampires. Seems like a pretty strange thing to encounter even while insect collecting in a remote rainforest.

Well, the things I've seen are things like the langsuir, some dead people (not sure what's to call them), pontianak... as well as other strange unexplainable things and occurrences which I simply don't know how to explain. An encounter with these things really is actually quite expected.
I used to stay in late with a fellow guitar-tech at the local guitar store to help him finish up some extra work. The shop lot above was previously empty till some wedding dress shop began opening up the place. During the nights of the days while they were renovating upstairs, we experienced guitar strings pickin' and strummin' themselves (in open of course, no chords), and sightings like a girl dressed in white with her face covered with her long black hair (pontianak) as well as occasional body parts scattered around the shop such as eyeballs (they'd disappear after a minute or two). Looks like what used to live upstairs was getting kicked out by the wedding dress shop and decided to stop by the store downstairs. That's just one of the many incidents, mate...

Too bad these things never occure to people that studied some part of science, so I will never see anything extraterrestial or paranormal...

I wake up next to an alien every morning until she has a shower and puts on some makeup.
