I tried detergent but it never works, as far as I know only acetone works. I've tried everything I can think off.

You can also try and put white paper underneath the elytra and in between the abdomen. Dealer uses this method in Asia to stop the fat coming up from the abdomen and brighten up the yellow.

my main problem with the Homoderus is that the black thoracic patch became quite invisble ? Aesthetically, it is a big problem

Paint the two black point on the paper then insert the paper inside the thorax, maybe it's just too far decay and there's nothing more I can suggest.

bleach = acid=alkali. It will destroy that specimen, like it will damage your skin !
Detergant>acetone or perchlorethylen ( the best one ). If not, then nothing gonna help that beetle...

I'm experimenting with hair bleach at the moment for those specimens were darkened by moisture and bacteria. Will let you all know when I have the result.

Alright here is the result. The right is the untreated and the left is been in acetone for one week and bleached with hair bleach for more than 6 hours, then I put a little bit of oil on top to give back a little bit of shine. Attachments:
