i'm now talking with the carpenter of china on line,he told me a 12 drawer carbinet costs about 2000rmb,about 220euro or around. greatlly depends on which carpenter, some may more expensive, doubled price or around,or cheaper a bit. but it's been good price for me,but i should teach him how to make,so i collect photos. ehehehehe. sounds funny. but really interesting. have a uncopyable carbinet is great.

i checked the site 'leptraps' had carbinet from. this factory's products really very perfessional,air-tight carbinet. modern style. but i did not found the price from this site. Barry's carbinet are more vintage style, all wooden made, also very delicate. i would guess to avoid the dermestid and moisture your way is to put camphor and silica gel one by one into the individual drawers?

the specimens are dried, fragile. when pulling the drawers out, will the drawers shaking/quaking a bit?the slide of the connection between a drawer and the internal carbinet is a core fact. wooden carbinet's slides are wood, saw from the modern style ones, the slides is metal(looks more smooth). this would be a problem for me to slove. to select if to use wooden slides or metal.

Buy your own woodworking equipment and make it yourself. Cheapest way to go, in the long run. Jeff Prill
