I thought this was an interesting topic that has recently been discussed at great lengths nationwide among entomologists "Death of an order: a comprehensive molecular phylogenetic study confirms that termites are eusocial cockroaches" rsbl.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/3/3/331.fullThe article is interesting. The termite and cockroach have always been extremely close orders, in fact the only orders that were found to be so similar. The paper/argument is that there is no longer an order distinction between termites and cockroaches. what do you guys think?

They both have 6 legs and antenna ? Where's the problem, I would also toss beetles and Lepidoptera into it, they too got 6 legs and antennae.

Without the article, I would have disagreed. The social hierarchy along with a queen, mutual symbiosis of gut fauna, chemistry (formic acid?) are all thigs to classify them separately.
