You can add Plebeius argus ssp. cretaceus to that list too. I can let you have information on most of the British species you list, I have most in my collection so I can supply photos too if you want? Dave I would be very grateful for any information Dave. And especially photographs of preserved specimens! Just let me know exactly how you wish to be credited as the copyright owner of the photographs, and how you wish to display the fact to other people in the form of a caption underneath each photo. Also, if you have a website or anything I would be happy to hyperlink to it as a show of my appreciation.

Some Delias has been described from one specimen by Japanese and never rediscovered since. Like Delias hikarui or Delias takashii. Most specialists now think it was just aberrant specimens of Delias hypomelas f. argentata.
Then many Delias females has still to be discovered.
To my knowledge, no Delias species/subspecies has gone extincted ... for the moment. The pressure on forests from palm oil and mining industry in Indonesia is just incredible. I have slept one night at 2000 m altitude in the remoted Pass Valley of West Papua (you need to take 4 planes and 1 day of 4x4 to go there...) and I heard the morbid sound of chainsaws all night long, even there...
