7th Edition, Order Diptera: Would someone who has a copy of this edition please check the last sentence of the article on Family Mydidae. Does it read “The adults are probably also predaceous.” or something to that effect?
This false statement has been repeated in previous editions and would indicate a disappointing inattention to detail on the family containing the world’s largest dipteran.
I should hope the error has not been repeated in the expensive new 7th edition.
