17 ,should be a Eupterotidae ? this time, the Saturniidae collecting is not satisified as i hoped on species, there're other different sp. in S.W. or S.Tibet i am pretty sure,i hope one day i could develop them. and, actually to find the genus name for me is not difficult or easy, but this does not make significance only have genus name, but i could not ID on the species,it's serious on names determination so i'd have them all posted here directlly with lazyness by this chance, 1) did you ever came across any Saturniidae in day time from natural without human's influence? 2) what is the largest Saturniidae of the world? Thanks. Attachments:

1 and 2 are male and female of either Antheraea (Antheraeopsis) chengtuana or Antheraea (Antheraeopsis) assamensis. I favour the first one due to heavier dark scaling in the whitish apical spot on the forewing. Chengtuana has also been documented in Yunnan China. I think assamensis might be limited to southern side of the mountains. It is possible in Tibet that you have an undescribed species/subspecies. If you have a more precise location in southeastern Tibet, that information would be appreciated It is very nice to see verso images of these moths. Bill Oehlke

11A and B are Saturnia (Rinaca) zuleika. The ones you saw in Laos would have been Saturnia (Rinaca) lesoudieri.
I will try to do the others later.
14 is an Archaeoattacus edwardsii male. 16 is Samia canningi male. Can you provide verso image of this one?
