What is a species? Kyrgyzstan, Tien Shan, Kungei, Ala-Too, Chon-Ak-SuThis should be P. actius minutus by the locality, but the specimen is paler than normal, especially the margins of the forewings. The area is called "Kungei Ala-Too" (using your spelling) not two separate places. Adam.

P. apollo may be mezbacheri? Ssp. merzbacheri (note spelling) is probably best regarded as a synonym of mongolicus Staudinger, 1900 along with all the other so called subspecies from Kyrghizstan. It is only really possible to confirm which of the synonyms it should be placed with if the exact locality is given. Adam.

IMHO, the pictured charltonius male is definitely ssp. vaporosus, and the geography is simply erroneous. This one has to be from Vanch, W Pamirs.
