Before I posted this thread, I warned ricardo that i would do so if he did not reply to my messages. He hasn't replied.......
I hope that this isn't the case, because ricdo has sent me some nice parcels in the past without payment, but over a month has passed now that i sent ricardo $350 part payment for a package. He contacted me 4 weeks ago saying that the parcel has been sent, but when i asked him for the tracking number he has fallen silent.
If the parcel does arrive i will certainly ammend this thread and give my sincere appologies for not believing him. But untill then, don't send him any money up front. By the way, if he offers you 4 macrodontia flavipennis with other cerambycidae, they have already been half paid for, so offer him half the money!!!!!!

ricardo contacted me today. he said that he was out for two weeks over the christmas period, (not that old chestnut!!!) but he does say he will redeem me my money on the next parcel. he says that he sent the parcel by registered mail, but i am still waiting for the tracking number.

I have sent 250 USD to Ricardo Klasp at Nov. 2010 and still waiting my parcel. About six months of empty promises and then ignore. Maybe Ricardo write something here?
I assume that scammer uses a different names and different email address, because recently the story repeated. Not send any advance payment in Paraguay, it same as Cameroon.

2 month ago I have sent 150 USD to Walter Gemez of Paraguay (Entomo Trip), it seems the same person.
No parcel and tracking number not work.

I'm Philippe from France.
I had the same trouble with Ricardo about two years ago. I send him 350 USD and he never send me the parcel of Cerambycidae. He always had a good reason. I put several bad reports about him on InsecNet.com, I received more than 12 mails from other people that had the same trouble all around the world. I published their names (with their agreements) on Insectnet.com.
This guy use a lot of different names.
I saw ads from Entomo Ttrip, I contacted him with another e-mail adsress, he answer me with the name of Walt, that is another name of Ricardo, he put ad about flavipennis a few days ago.
It is not acceptable that InsectNet.com accept ads from this guy anymore and accept ads from people that don't give full country, name and address.

I want to clarify that I do not know who is that Ricardo Klasp, I know nothing of this person, and of course never wrote or advertise anything on insectnet with another name that is not my own.
I am not a scammer, this gentleman, thinks, because sent half payment (150$), has the right to comment suspects, over me. I do not deny that there is a big delay on Postal Delivery, but I have documents that say the package was sent.
Several times, I am claiming on the post office for packages that have not reached their destination, they tell me to wait!!! and that the tracking number will only work when it enters into the computer system of the destination country. not before.
Some packages were not delivered, I do not know what else to do!!!!
Return the money, that's all.

My comment based not on $150 but only on the facts:
- 2 months a parcel not arrived - Western Union in advance - tracking number not work.
Maybe you can send a photo of your documents on my e-mail?
And why a parcel you sent me 2 months ago still not arrived a destination country?

One thing as to be said, parcels coming from Paraguay do take weeks, months sometimes....

I buy from ricardo klasp? But my moneygramme goes to walter gomez. Listen, my parcels to the UK from paraguay only takes 2 weeks at the most. I have never had a delay from paraguay. LUCKY? no i don't think so. Where in paraguay do you live walt.
