Pete, yes, this is definitely a beautiful rare male of A. beringei ! I have only one A1 male of 74 mm in my collection, from Chisegu Mt., Masasi. I definitely need a female ! Will you put the specimens on ebay ?

Wow, 87 mm for male and 80 mm for female are VERY BIG sizes ! Ok, I will definitely bid on them then, and will try to win at least one female. Congrats for getting them, they are very hard especially at these sizes.
Cheers, Thanos

beringei provided the biggest African acantophorini (up 10 cm) otherwise I caught myself a capensis of 96 mm and have a longipenis of 95 mm. (maculatus and confinis also climb in the 90s mm)

I seen many tithoes for sale on ebay as maculatus despite they were in fact confinis !
anyway your sizes are extremely high ! may be record ! how much did you obtain for them ?
