Hey Coleophile, that's a real nice selection of self caught Mutillids. My compliments on the prep work. They look very good and that only comes from working with them right away after dispatch. Otherwise, they tend to curl in a ball and are hopeless to relax. Keep up the good work. I really like these guys !

Thanks for posting 58chevy! Lots of diversity there.... Nice to see someone has an interest in this order. You probably have more specimens of Hymenoptera in that photo than in the whole of my collection. Well, can't collect everything. Drawers cost too much. However, it must be said that the Hymenoptera offer many possibilities of fascinating families and species to delve into.

All the specimens in that photo were collected within 5 miles of my house. Hymenoptera is my 3rd favorite order (after beetles & leps, which I like equally).
