HI All here know Archive.org or BHL to found Literature on Butterflies but some important works are still missing in their list. Here are some works hard to found. Semper:1886-1892 Die Schmetterlinge der Philippinischen Inseln. Beitrag zur Indo-Malayischen Lepidopteren-Fauna. l (Die Tagfalter). There is only the moth part on BHL Ward:Christofer Ward has published several papers in the Entomologist periodical from 1870 to 1873, then he has published this book including plates of all his previews descriptions. Very rare. 1873c African Lepidoptera, being descriptions of new Species. London. Longmans, Green and Co. Toxopeus:Toxopeus was in post in Nederland-Indiƫ (Now Indonesia). He has published papers in perodicals not easy to found like Idea, Treubia, etc. During the japanese occupation one issue of Treubia had been published, but with a diferent title "Hortus Botanicus Gogoriensis, Java". Infortunately, the title let think that it is a botanical volume, but there are 2 papers on Butterflies. 1944a On some Delias from the Snow Mountains in New Guinea (Lep.. Pieridae) 1944b Results of the Archbold Expedition to New Guinea. Lepidoptera: Riodinidae (Erycinidae). I have put all those publications here if you are interrested. www.mediafire.com/folder/ovbr89sv33n5d/DocumentsAlain

3 more papers from Toxopeus.
As I see that Delias lovers need exact localities for those highly specialized Butterflies, I put a paper on the itinerary of the 3rd Archbold Expedition, with the gazeteer of localities.
Toxopeus 1940b Netherlands Indian-American Expedition to Netherlands New Guinea (3rd Archbold Expediton to New Guinea 1938-39) List of collection stations. Treubia 17: 271-275, 1 map. (Dutch); 277-279 (English). [Apr 1940]
And one more paper on Delias.
Toxopeus 1950e On the distribution of Delias crithoe (Boisd.) in Java (Lep.. Pieridae). Idea 8(1/2): 30-45, pl 2, 1 fig (Map).
And a third is mainly about Papilionidae systematic.
Toxopeus 1951a On the collecting localities of some Linnaean types (Lepidoptera, Rhopalocera). Idea 8(3/4): 53-74, pl 3, 1 fig (Map).
I have put papers at the same address.

Thank you very much Alain, I have been looking for a copy of Toxopeus (1951a) for a long time. Having downloaded it just now I have managed to fill a big hole in my literature about Papilio sarpedon Linnaeus, 1758.
Adam.
