I have met Jerome Pages 50 years ago. We are from the same town in Brittany, Rennes.

I was 10 years old and he showed me his collection, it was like discovering Heaven for me then.

He's a specialist of Afghan and Pakistan lepidoptera. He goes there everyyear.
I know some other French collectors who go there everyyear.
Of course it's not the safest place on Earth but they have very good contacts there and have gained the respect of local populations.

They are the AS Meek of today !
