Hello Peter, the pictures where meant for a project that I am working on, this will hopefully be finished in two weeks. I am working full time on that project until then. The specimen that will not become part in this project can already be shown here. I decided to not use the picture of this Ornithoptera paradisea arfakensis (I still think it is just a high altitude form as argued once in another topic, if you don't agree no problem, my opinion is highly subjective and I have no perfect proof) as the hind wings are badly set, you can't see the tails.

Hi Claude, nice photographs. Papilio hoppo is a lovely swallowtail. The mystery deepens [ your project]. Yes, Taxonomists always seem to disagree and so will collectors, which I suppose, makes that subject of Entomology so interesting, always plenty to discuss.

Ok, after 6 weeks of fulltime work the project comes to its end. I want to run a short beta phase before fully announcing the concept. Therefore I wanted to ask if anyone here would be willing to do a small beta-test of this website for me? It will only take between 15 and 30 minutes.. You only have to check out the website, tell me if it runs fine on your computer, if you understood how it works and if you have any suggestions to it. You will see more amazing pictures on this website, so I would be grateful for anyone taking these few minutes. Please write me a PM if you are interested, anyone can participate (although you will only see Rhopalocera). Some example pics: Parnassius autocrator Papilio mangoura Salamis anteva The official website will then go online within the next few days if no issues have been encountered during the beta phase. Rgds Claude

Papilio mangoura, Claude. I assume it was a typo.

Yes indeed, corrected the typo. The offer for the test is still open. I don't want to explain too much yet as I have designed a tutorial on the website that will tell you in a few sentences and as quickly as possible how the website works. If I would explain too much here I wouldn't know if the tutorial is comprehensive or not.
Rgds Claude.
