Magnificent series of specimens. Lovely arrangement of your drawers. Again thanks for sharing these. Which do you consider your the rarest Arctiidae specimens in your collection and what do you think is the most beautiful species, the latter would be hard to choose. I also enjoyed the way you posted your great images.

You ask about my the rarest specimens. There are some of such: Pararctia subnebulosa tundrana, Palearctia golbecki, Palearctia gratiosa rupicola, Holoarctia puengeleri perunovi, Holoarctia marinae. Yet I lack Borearctia menetriesii, which is considered the rarest north-Palaearctic species! You're right, it's hard to judge the most beautiful species here. I for one particularly like noth-american Arachnis citra, but in average like many-many others too As to posting images, perhaps better it would be to post miniatures. Then they could be opened with more magnification, as it seems...

Very nice collection. Some of those day-flying species are hard to get. Here's one of my drawers of Nearctic species, including the five U.S. Arachnis species which I personally collected. I still need to organize it a bit.

Have a nice Christmas. farfett farfett, Actually there are 6 speciemens Of which specimens you're speaking (you'd gladly send which) - of Fuliginosa melitensis or perhaps of my numerous gaps in 'spanish' Arctiidae? The latter would be especially interesting Thank you for season greetings! I wish you too, Merry Christmas!

Not to tease, just to show... These specimens are from the spanish side of the Pyrenees. Regarding collecting, unfortunately I don't collect, just exchange or buy.
