Can anyone give me a possative id on the second image please The first Butterfly is Boloria pales but its the second one I`m not so sure on. My thoughts are Boloria napaeaThey are both hi altitude Fritillaries from the French Alps Thanks Steve Attachment Deleted

Where did you obtain these specimens, I only ask because I collected the right specimen and my collecting buddy on this trip, Chris Farrell collected the other one. Brings back some very good memories because on the 11th of August the area where we found these was caught in a blizzard with snow falling all afternoon and some 4 inches lay on the ground by 9 that night, by the afternoon of the 12th it had mostly melted and the butterflies where busy nectaring as if nothing had happened.
I believe the one on the right is napaea though not 100% sure. Nice to see them again though..

Purchased them from the The Newark/Midlands Entomological Fair two years ago from a guy who was selling loads of Butterflies as he needed to downsize his collection. I got them for a pound each real bargain.
