Well put Tom, I have 5 children and when I made the choice to have them I knew it was my duty to give them the happiest life possible like I did as a child (you will have to ask them if I did), not by spoiling them with money and things, but with memories, after all they are the things that we should cherish the most.
With school, of course some lessons will be more boring than others, I quickly came to realise that I had an aptitude for mathematics above everyone else I knew but at English and history I sucked, big time but the monotony was broken up by allowing us to do the things that children need to do, laugh, run off steam, enquire about the world around them, play, imagine and enjoy, its all so structured and ordered now, I could not believe some of the things my kids were doing, I think the teachers were death eaters, sucking all the fun out of life but of course they are only following orders from a higher source and doing their best in a very difficult job, we have lost our way so badly over here I doubt it will ever change for the better as it needs someone in office with common sense and that will never happen.
