Attachment DeletedIt has been mentioned this is a gentlemans forum, which I would agree with, and I'm curious to know what the drink of choice would be for you guys/ladies? For harder spirits I'm a fan of Macallan 12 and 21, beer would be Bohemia, and wines are dependent on the meal they're paired with. I'm sure some of you guys who've traveled extensively to remote regions have tried some unique traditional/tribal drinks, which would also be interesting to hear about. Cheers!

The other day on the forum, we had pictures upside down, and now it is sideway ... Maybe too much of my favorite alcool ?

Quite an amusing occurance from what I can gather, there seems to be a trend with iOS. The photo was taken on my iPhone, so it looks to be one of those pesky nuances between operating systems!

I'm a local-vore when it comes to spirits. I work right across the street from an award winning craft brewery (Sun King) - and drink their Osiris IPA exclusively as my beer of choice. They don't sell their product further than a 6 hour drive from the brewery by choice - so unless you are in Indianapolis, you will never get the chance to taste their products. I go a bit further for higher octane - but pretty much any solid sour mash bourbon from Kentucky suits me. It’s nice to be so close to such a global resource! I'm especially fond of Knob Creek. john

Not one of my favourites but I thought I'd post it anyway.

I enjoy some Jack Daniels and some Cazadores tequila if I want something strong.

Tannin with milk and sugar for me, otherwise known as a good cup of tea.
Adam.

I imagine that tea is quite bitter Adam? I've had a few cups of traditional oriental tea, some of which were quite mild but others...well...hopefully did something magical for my longevity after all the trouble of getting them down!

Actually it's Tetley's extra strong tea bags (red label) that a friend brings out for me every few months. I must admit I'm not so keen on green tea. Adam.

Strong black coffee for me. I get some strange stares from my Congolese friends... the normal cup of coffee in these parts includes about 6 heaping spoonfuls of sugar.

Hey Tom, I would think you have access to some high grade coffee over there? It would be nice to hand pick and roast up a fresh batch

My favorite beers are Guinness and Bass, when I can afford them. For harder stuff I like tequila and vodka. I used to be a bourbon guy but lost my taste for it. There are a lot of good bourbons out there. I was actually born about a mile from where the Reverend Elijah Craig distilled the first bourbon in Scott County Kentucky in the late 1700's. Ironically one of the bordering counties took the name of Bourbon County. I don't know the exact history behind that. Perhaps my home county had already been named Scott. Cheers, Arrowhead
