I had a massive argument with thanos on here, but we kissed and made up. He didn't mind who he was calling a b*****d. I remember that another forum member sent the authorities to his house which, to be fair, in my opinion was wrong. He could have lost his entire collection and they wouldn not have been returned in the condition that they were taken. I still ask him for help with ID through eBay, and he always replies. Such a shame he was hostile towards people.

I just think this forum is a much nicer place without his arrogant, juvenile attitude.

His problem, and it was a MASSIVE problem was his inability to interact on any level with people who differed from his opinion in the slightest, a lot of his "knowledge" was googled, yes he did have some great specimens and a great enthusiasm for entomology but lest we forget he almost single handedly ruined this site and tried to ruin the reputation of some fine entomologists on his way down, I think what people miss most was the entertainment value of his rants and some on here knew how to push his buttons to bring him to boiling point very quickly, but not missed by me for sure.
