Papaipema leugostigma feeds on Columbine. Although a little early, it is only found where Columbine occurs. I would like to see a photograph of the specimen.
Also, do you have Columbine in your area?
I will begin to Light Trap for P. leugostigma in Meade County, KY and in Perry & Harrison Counties in southern Indiana in mid August. I have found P. Leugostigma in all these counties along with Columbine. However, these are all single captures. (three total specimens. I took a fresh male on 12 August in Perry County, IN last year.

How about Papaipema baptisiae. It is an early flier. I actually took one in bait trap last year in mid-July.
Spread the specimen and send me another photograph after it is set.

Possible. BAMONA identified it as P. furcata but I think mine has darker coloring.

I got one today, similar to arctivorens but not the same. It may be astuta or possibly duovata (probably not).

Have you spread your specimens?
Papaipema duovata is only known from the South East Coast of NC, SC and GA.

I just found another papaipema which I cannot identify. It has somewhat similar coloring to nelita but also has very faint spots.

This thread needs photos. No Paps yet this season. Hopefully that will change this weekend

Two Light Traps out last night on the bluffs along the Ohio River in Perry County, IN. Lots of Columbine, no Papaipema leucostigma. Several Schina septentrionalis (I think?) They are on a Spreading board.

Papaipema rigida P. inquaesita P. pterisi
Same ol' same ol'.
Bucket traps were deployed by others and got a few P. arctivorens in the dry sandy areas. I got none in my trap but it was rained on and was soggy wet.
There were some Schinia arcigera.
