Very nice indeed. Wide pronotum. Is it 96mm? Trully amazing beetles. Especially when you consider how well they can take to the wing.

the first I seen on the wings (I was around 15 old) was in late afternoon, flying high in the trees and I didn't realise it was a beetle, more something like a small bat ... I understood a few days later it was a Goliath beetle that i didn't know it was present in the area (the next season i caught my first fornasinius and goliathus in that locality )

That must be a site to see! I only have one Goliathus so far, must be that much cooler to see them alive! G. Goliathus - Male 96mm P.S. I think Proflek2011's photo is taken on an angle, that's what makes the pronotum look so wide.
