Hello Paolo,
Please can you post in English as we use that language here for our worldwide membership, thank you. If you don't write English well it is perfectly acceptable to run your text through a translator and post that here, or just write in your own version of English. It doesn't matter if the grammar is correct or not.
Adam.

Hi fellow entomologists and insect lovers,
I've recently surveyed Lepidoptera in DRCongo and am slowly gathering information on the current knowledge of the area and taxa. The expertise collected among the forum members would surely be a valuable addition to the resources.
Cheers, Jan

Welcome Jan,
There are several members here who have spent a lot of time studying Lepidoptera of DRC, so I am sure there will be plenty to discuss. Please do ask questions or write about your experiences in the relevant forum sections.
Adam.

Hi, I am Gareth from the UK. I have general interest in wildlife and photography, and more recently in insects. I have a very limited and broad knowledge, have some source books and like to confirm (or otherwise) my sightings. I post photographs to my Flickr account www.flickr.com/photos/157476475@N03/Gareth

Needing identification of a very small beetle. Beetle submitted to me by another person in the southwestern Michigan area. Welcome to Insectnet (and welcome to all other new members too), There is at least one member here who can probably give a good answer to that ID problem, so please create a thread in the Bug indentification section with a photo of the beetle. Please do not post it in the 'Presentation' thread, as the right members may not see it. Please see my post (4th down) about posting photos to the forum in the Technical Issues section: insectnet.proboards.com/thread/4692/picture-attachmentNote that uploading photos directly to the forum is not possible. Adam.

I'm a retired science teacher living in Melbourne, Australia and I've tried to identify an insect by other means with no luck. I'm hoping someone here might help.
