Unfortunately, this site is not knowledgeable on medical related issues.
For proper assistance I suggest you seek out a parasitologist.

You are a new member here, please tell us more about you and your insect passion. Needing identification of a very small beetle. Beetle submitted to me by another person in the southwestern Michigan area. We'd need a photo at minimum. Or better yet - run it over to MSU where they house a major reference collection. john

Mike Dale age 51, 2 daughters. I have parasites, I've ask for help in Reno NV. Broken back, and a knee that hurts like hell. No blood work, x-rays, asked for them to just use an ultrasound. It's all good till you tell them I have parasites. And how do you know you have parasites?

My name is Manitobant (or just manito for short) from winnipeg, Canada. I am primarily an antkeeper (if anyone here uses formiculture you may recognize me) but also an avid collector of insects, especially moths, which i have been collecting since i was 8 years old. One of my favourite pastimes during the summer is light trapping, a topic i am eager to discuss.

You are a new member here, please tell us more about you and your insect passion. I'm with Indigo Instruments in Waterloo, ON. I am a zoologist by training but that was ages ago. My personal interest in insects is with Integrated Pest Management. I have joined because I noticed that some members were wondering whether there were alternatives now that Bioquip is closing shop. We carry the Entophinx pins & a few other items of use to entomologists. We ship Canadian orders out of Waterloo & US orders out of Buffalo, NY. Making a first post overly commercial may be frowned on so I will just reply to a few specific ones I encountered. I will of course refrain if I get flamed. If anyone wants specifics, I will reply of course.

Well, you must have some pretty grand holdings of Saturniidae. If you feel like sharing some of your collection photos with us there is a thread about Saturniidae which is only a couple of months old.

I have pictures of a thing that bit me, never seen in my area before, I saw 2 today, one drowned in my washing machine, anyway I took pictures and videos and don’t know how to post so I can get some insight from more experienced bug experts. Thanks

Hello My old account was "777", but I forgot my old email and password so i've started a new account.
My name's Ethan. I started casually collecting some beetles when I was 16, 4 years later I am now collecting almost any species of animal I can find. My passion for nature has inspired me so now I have recently become a taxidermist. I haven't been collecting insects as much for a while because a lot of my bugs had been destroyed by ants that came into my house one day. Not even dried bugs are spared by ants! I've gotten some Cornell drawers to protect my collection now and I feel motivated to collect insects again.
