I know this is not ento, but thought you might like to see some of my favorites of another kind. Besides the insects and three Koi ponds, I have several bigger tanks of tropicals......my favorite being the Discus. Oddly, the site is only allowing me to do one image....maybe I'll reply to my own post.  |

I have a 3m long tank full of Serrasalmids, but none of those. They are banned in Thailand because they might end up in the rivers here.

I have always love tropical fish. However, after 40 years of bubbling fish tanks, I gave it all to my son, tanks, stands, pumps and filters, water heaters, all of it.
I forgot how quiet our home is with fish tanks.However, I can hear my caterpillars chewing!!

That was once my small ocean. I created it, took care of it, gave food, light, minerals, it was little separately existing world. And I loved it, I was a god. Until I moved around the world I had to sell, I miss it.  |
