Phoebis avellaneda are strong fliers, however, they have never been reported from South Florida or the Florida Keys.
When I lived in South Florida in the late 1990's I attempted to obtain a live gravid female or two for ova. And yes, there were scammers back then. One of them is well known to some of you to this day.
I equate Phoebis avellaneda to Brigitte Bardot, an early 1960's French model and sex symbol. Many a young man dreamed of jumping her bones. And many a young man put calluses on his hands from choking his chicken while looking at her picture in Playboy.
Playboy Magazine, is it still published?
I will bet some serious coin that this post gets deleted!!!
