Hi. Does anyone knows what this creature is? Location is Belgrade, Serbia (Europe). I was unwrapping plastic bag in which I put salmon filet few days ago in the freezer. I don’t know it could have been eighter on the salmon or plastic bag. I have never seen anything like this so if someone can tell me I would be thankful. http://instagram.com/p/B1Q3DV8iw-j Here is the picture☝🏻

Greetings,
To me, this looks like the shed skin of the larva of a dermestid beetle (family Dermestidae). They feed on dried plant and animal material and are particularly damaging to insect collections. They would not be interested in fresh fish, and I suspect the skin was in the bag before you put the fish into it. The shed skins are very light and can be easily picked up on air currents - it could have been in a drawer and wafted into the plastic at some point. I would call it a coincidence and not sign of an infestation.
I see these larvae on the windowsills of my home in the summer - they are attracted to the dead insects that came to window lights and found their way in through the screen and died. Check also any food stores near where you keep your plastic bags, etc. - things like dried foods, dog or cat food and even some natural potpourri can harbor these critters. But unless you have a valuable insect collection like a lot of us here, they're not a major issue in most homes...
Cheers! Bandrow
