Looks like a tick to me, one that's been feeding possibly, seems kind of large for a mite, but maybe they're bigger in Ireland. I'm not sure if Lyme disease is present outside of the USA, it's named for a town somewhere in the states. But in any event, you don't want them in the house r on your pets. Are you banned from Google? Otherwise, please consult this source before saying "I am not sure". Lyme disease is widespread across the N. Hemisphere. Banned from google, I don't think so, and that comment was uncalled for. I don't look up every little thing just so I can look smart, OK? And lyme disease is named for some town in the eastern states, which I am not going to bother to look up.

I tried to convince you, referring to Google. You say that you do not bother "to look up every little thing just so I can look smart, OK?". I am not sure this is OK. However, if you do not like to look smart, that's fine with me. BTW: Lyme is a town in New London County, Connecticut.

I bought a little microscope I don't think it looks like any tick photos I can find. What do you think? This is the largest one I found. I seem to have two other stages too, one like this but smaller and one that's much smaller and clear. All look very similar though, 8-legged and similar features.

They are mites. Can you you look into your cat's ears? There is something called ear mites in cats. Although they don't entirely look like that. Cats can also have mites on their skin that causes a rash. In any case check with your veterinarian. None of these species should bite humans.

For completion, I found elsewhere that these are Oribitada Nothridae. I found photos of them online and they're identical to my ones.
