Hello, I live in Pinellas County Florida, last night, my girlfriend got bit by many bugs in my house in a short period of time, she thinks there might be some bird mites from some chicks we got recently but I don't see any signs of mites on the chicks. We found this little ball in our bed and she thought it is a mite but I have absolutely no idea. It was in my bed, it is extremely tiny, I took a couple pictures with a microscope, one from each side. imgur.com/gallery/bEZmUgqHere are 3 pictures, 2 of it under a microscope and one just taken with my phone camera so you can see just how tiny it is. It's just the size of a spec of dust. I would really really appreciate an ID of what this is so much, thank you!!

You were looking at it under a microscope, did you see any lines of symmetry? I can't really identify any from the pictures, but most insects/mites/etc. have bilateral symmetry. Maybe someone else has a better idea, but at this point all I could guess is it could maybe be some kind of egg, poop, seed, or sand. I know, not a lot of help. Sorry

Thank you for the reply! That's a really good point about the symmetry, I guess it couldn't be a bug. Thanks very much that helps a lot!
