I am designing a vivarium for isopods and was wondering how far they'll go outside of a moist environment. Of course they require moisture to live but I would like to know if they will go outside of a moist environment to find food and also if they will be able to find their way back.

Judging by the number of dead I find in the garage, I recommend that you keep them contained. They do wander, and then dry out and die.

Do you know how far they can go? The container Im using will be partly suited for isolopods and partly bone dry. The container is very large and I was wondering if they can venture a 10 meters or so in complex tunnels and still find their way back

30 feet? I doubt it, it is going to depend on the environment in your tunnel complex. They aren't exactly made for speed. I kept some pillbugs and other small crawlies in a container for a ground beetle I captured in June, the beetle finally expired, but the isopods were still going, but it was a small container I misted a few times a week and had rotted wood for substrate.
