here is a photo of a wine bottle advertising with the image of Iphiclides podalirius. The wine comes from the same region as the butterfly. The butterfly is very rare in Germany and is found only in very few places favored by heat. A preference it shares with the vine.  |

View AttachmentI've actually got a sticker book with a few podalirius that I used to decorate my computer. I'll always remember it as the first "exotic" species I collected. |
