This is a beetle but I have no idea exactly what type. If it is rather small it is probably a species which feeds on grain (biscuits, rice, flour etc) as a larva. You didn't say how big it is, and also whether there are many of them in your car or only a few. I doubt that there is any connection with your job, as they do not attack people.

Thank you. It is about 3 to 5 millimeters long. There are not that many as I vacuumed and cleaned the car right after I noticed them. I also used a lemongrass spray for bedbugs, but they are still in the car after multiple treatments. Perhaps I should use something else. First I would like to use something nonpoisonous as I drive my kids to school daily. Thank you
