Actias.de Beetleforum.net
There are a number of other sites I go to for information, but those 2 are my other usual ones. Actias is in German, but my browser has translate, which works fairly well, although some words are translated in an inexplicable manner, it's simple enough to figure out 99.99% of the time.

I do a lot of research on iNaturalist, but don't contribute much yet. Too bad, as I have photos of all sorts of fauna that is rare and/or relatively poorly known. Time constraints. Beyond that, it would take me three days to go through iNaturalist and correct all the not-Papilio canadensis, most of which have been verified by purported experts...besides, where would they go? There's really no place for cryptics except to elevate the sighting to the genus/ group level, and then some tard will come along and verify it back to something it's not, and I wasted my time. iNaturalist has a pseudo-forum for research, but it's not well used, and after a while it has an auto-shutdown, so duh, if you're going to do crowd sourced research you'd better post regularly whether there's any new data or not.
Our sister website on proboards seems to be more science/ technical-leaning, but the participation is very low.
Wish I had time to talk Coleoptera too, but something's gotta give.

The ICF also. I used to post on Insecterra forum too, but I realized that attending more than one or two forums is too much for me.
