exoticimports is correct, most crickets are brown or black, but some of them are green, mostly actually not true crickets. The shape of a cricket is quite different to a cockroach, especially note the hindlegs which are enlarged for jumping. Cockroaches cannot jump using their hindlegs alone. Adam.

crickets look more like a grasshopper, roaches are flatter.
