 I believe this is a Lophocampa species but I can not determine which species it is. It was collected in June 2021 in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it’s a male L. maculata.

I think it’s a male L. maculata. Thanks evra. After looking at more pictures on Bugguide.net it appears to be quite variable in the forewing patterns. |

I agree with this ID. We have this species in Ontario as well.
