I thought abt putting this on the current Stick thread, but didn’t want to ruin it. Thought you might like to see these unique few shadow boxes of cool insects that I acquired just to enjoy

Can you provide location data ? Third photo, left side third down; right side second down. These are the scraggly brown ones.
Thanks.

Ok..
At left third one down one is
? species Maria-Nabire Irian Jaya, INDO May 2003 135mm
At right second one down is
Extatosoma popa popa Wau, Morobe, PNG April 2005 149mm …….and……..the next one down on right is same species and location data, but 98mms.
Sorry, the data is not ideal……just these to provide variety in the insect room.

Thanks Bill. Interesting, look the same as Malaita, but can’t be the same.

Chuck,
Sorry, I really can’t help w these as I’m not into them and, as I said earlier, got them just for fun. I originally had next to none of these interesting insects in my insect room bc all I really got into were the leps and coleops. A friend of mine suggested I get some interesting bugs to add variety to my insect room. Glad I did.

Hello Bill, You’ve got a nice mixture of showy species in these cases! I have never seen that katydid species in the upper right corner offered for sale. Wish I would!!!
