 I found about 20 of these dead on a skirting board in my home in Melbourne Australia. I'm trying to determine how concerned I should be.

hard to tell what they (it) are. Maybe a beetle or an isopod. Probably not a pest control issue, if the skirting is outdoors, it may
have just been a place for the creatures to congregate over a season. If it's indoors, that might be different, they could be some kind
of carpet beetle, it's a hard id either way. All insects have 6 legs- anything with more is something else.
