New regulations for insects coming into USA?

Even with the right paperwork/permits, there are several documented accounts of harassment when attempting to do the right thing and declaring them in the USA. I've a couple of secrets (legal methods) but I just won't share them. I have moved over to collecting and having someone else with the right paperwork do the legal import. Essentially, I pay them to go through the hassle. I've worked as a state wildlife officer (12 years) and my fellow officers were like the rest of the world: Some great people but to often 'John Waynes' getting a thrill needlessly exerting authority. I've had mostly good experiences with USFWC but they are hard pressed with less budget. It's a little sad that drugs are easier to smuggle than legally bringing in dead insects. I know I wrote opinions based on personal experience and you may have had different experience. I'm just adding to the conversation.
