I have to say Vernon that in looking over your various Catocala photos there are a pretty fair number of them like (olivia, illecta, carissimma, maestosa, etc.) which look "scale perfect" to me.

They really don't get any better and this is coming from an aesthetic collector who has always held "high standards" for all that I retain.

Therefore, your proclamation of having never seen or had a perfect specimen is contradictory to what you show pictures of.

But, keep the nice pictures coming !
