Hello there,
i got these insects from my uni, becaue they wanted to throw them away, but i thought they were too pretty for that.
That was a few years ago though and I cant remeber neither where they told me they were coming from, nor what Family they are in. I thought i remebered them to be cockroaches but after researching a little i thought their wings look completely different.
I want to use them in an art project so i dont need the exact specimen name, but a at least their family name or subclass would do.
m guessing them to be in Dictyoptera....

These are Cicadas, I am not a specialist in order Hemiptera but someone might tell more, although without location where they came from it maybe difficult to determinate them to the species.
