I live in New York, in a suburb just north of NYC. In the past 2 weeks, I've found two of these bugs in my bedroom. My initial thought was that they are silverfish; they are grey/silver in color, somewhat long and skinny, and very fast. However, neither bug seemed to have the long antennae or "tail," although I've read that they lose appendages easily. I posted these pictures on another forum and 4 people said they look like silverfish, but 2 people said they could be roach nymphs. I know it's a bit hard to tell because the insects are crushed, but does anyone have any insight? The insects pictured are two different bugs. Again, sorry that they're crushed. ibb.co/CVd1255ibb.co/L1LjwYxibb.co/pXTXz0k
