Greetings,
Could be P. heroicus, but my gut tells me it's P. californicus. Sedona is at a slightly higher elevation than where P. heroicus commonly occurs (lower deserts and oak woodlands), so P. californicus is more likely, but P. heroicus could occur there as well. This specimen doesn't look "heavy" enough to be P. heroicus and the pronotum seems too narrow, but I'd like to see some other opinions on this one - tough call to make from an image.
