Just like 'Moths Of Malaysia', this thread is for the butterfly specimens which I've collected and failed to identify. Any help would be much appreciated. Eurema Sp. Much smaller and paler than other Eurema species. Attachments:

... ... A very common Skipper, but I know absolutely nothing about it. I've never seen it described in books... None of my books have it, either.

Hasora Sp. Upperside is a uniform dark brown with two white spots on the forewings which also show on the underside. Underside has a faint blue/green/purple wash with a white band extending from space 8 to space 1a of the hindwings. Separated at space 1b by a large black spot. Attachments:

If the Eurema has only 1 spot in the forewing cell on underside, then it's E.andersonii . This specimen is very worn and so looks very whitish - when fresh looks more yellow .

Thanos There are no markings whatsoever on the underside. Also, this specimen hasn't faded at all. That is how I caught it. It already had the pale yellow coloration.
