Super specimens,John !! All these are very rare and hard to get, congrats ! The ssp.rosenbergi of ascolius from Ecuador occurs also in yellow form(without orange on hindwings),like your male of ssp.daguanus from Colombia(Rio Dagua). Your male ssp.rosenbergi is similar to ascolius ascolius from Colombia(Otanche).(The ssp.zalates from C.Rica differs from the other subspecies to that the orange hindwing area -reddish in females- is wider and more extended into the black borders, which are narrower. Also, the large yellow forewing patch on the edge of the cell is narrower, and the forewing yellow postdiscal spots generally smaller than in the other subspecies of ascolius). I haven't seen daguanus offered,or the females of a.ascolius and rosenbergi somewhere available for sale.

I have seen females of ssp. daguanus, ascolius, motilones in other collections, never seen rosenbergi female. Also never have seen neyi josianea, neyi bedoci male or female. True zagreus zagreus, bachus bachus are also very rare, even though many dealers have thm on lists. Both are found in Venezeula, Colombia only, not Peru.

Yes, it's P. neyi. P. zagreus doesn't have the unbroken orange band along the anal margin of the forewing.
