same again caught in samos last month. found an area with many hundreds just lazing about, but at night they were attracted to the lamppost light to my amazement. could anybody shed some light on these please Attachments:

Order: Neuroptera. Family: Nemopteridae. Nemoptera sinuata. Supposedly common in the Balkans, from what I've been able to find out. Did you keep data? Because without collecting data, they are worthless to science. Jeff Prill

just took them off the boards today, all with collecting data, just started to print them out.

Jeff is correct. Nemoptera sinuata. It is a very common species here in Greece,I have found it almost everywhere. Do you mean that you cought them in the Greek island of Samos ?

yes they were caught on samos island may / june, i was amazed to see them flying at night.
