Dear Adam, yes most French Canadians I know (my sister lives there) are very smiling people! Far more than us Northern Europeans (which is not very difficult).
Never met Yves-Pascal, just know he is a friend of Steeve who is very reliable. I agree with Thanos that his reputation is very strange...

I don't have a problem with thanos, so I can say that he has a point. The reason why I put the example of Florence Makanya is because if I remember correctly, she was supporting a insect seller from tanzania(or kenya) that was ripping people off. The guy put pictures and demanded an upfront payment. He then either sent crummy specimens, and then dissappeared when he got the rest of the money. I don't know what the deal with Mr. Dion is, but I hope the people that are having problems with him resolve their issues and get some new bugs or at least their money back.

Indeed, I am not making any comments on the reliability of either YP Dion or Steeve Collard, just replying with my experience of meeting YP Dion since I was asked. Steeve Collard bought some nice specimens from me, and sent Paypal payment after he returned to France, but I didn't mention that, as no-one was asking about him. I remember Steeve once told me that he became a friend of YP Dion because he worked for him when he was a student in Canada. Adam. PS. It's good to hear that other French Canadians smile more (Steeve Collard smiles a lot), as YP Dion was the first one I have met.

Doubtless he was trying to work out what it was, and if it required import duty to bring into the country.
By the way, butterfly collecting is perfectly legal in Thailand, as long as it is done outside protected areas (wildlife sanctuaries and national parks) and does not involve species protected under Thai law.
Adam.

Please-------------------everyone out there. . do your research . . BEFORE . . . you spend $ with a new seller. . . There are enough Red Flags on various sellers that would surely indicate that one should look elsewhere. . . As someone said, check out the Old Forum as well. If checking out any postings, questions arise, contact the posting person for details privately through this website's email system. . . . I have, myself, had to learn such lessons the hard way and now I do ALL I can to avoid ~any~ flags. btw----postings about problems with dealers should be posted in this section only as designed by Clark. Putting such postings in other areas is asking for trouble........and we do not want Clark to have to deal with troubles that arise from posting in the wrong areas.
Respectfully,
