These displays should also be featured in the Butterfly Art forum(by the way, shouldn't that forum be called "Insect" Art?!). Very few will fully appreciate the artistic vision and talent that was required to create these displays. It is far more difficult to create a design such as this which relies in part on the perfect amount of imperfection to look so good, than a design where everything is more uniform and spaced more equally. Fantastic work. The photography isn't bad either!!!

Dale had some fabulous displays back when I did the CA shows, they demonstrated the beauty of entomology far better than the categorized cases. He had one that was primarily wevils, and it blew my mind.

Very nice. It reminds me of my dad's collection at work (Pax River Naval Air Station Environmental Health). I was an enthralled 13 year old at the "monsters" behind the glass (specifically elephant stag, and giant root borer). Beatles to this day are my favorite of the insect world.
