Hi all,
Can anyone inform me about the current status of Parnassius acerdos (Stichtel, 1806) or is it still a subspecie of P. phoebus (Fruhstorfer, 1906)?

in this list it is already listed as seperate species: Papilionidae-Checklist from Christoph L. Häuser, Rienk de Jong, Gerardo Lamas, Robert K. Robbins, Campbell Smith & Richard I. Vane-Wright (2005): www.insects-online.de/frames/papilio.htm some italian researchers are also working on Parnassius sacerdos ,but I dont know when the results will be published Robert |
