Hello all,
I just registered on this forum after having followed Insectnet's old one awhile ago. I believe last time I participated was around 2005... which in internet time is a looong time ago. Anyway, I am a fellow lepidopterist with a more or less broad experience in european and neotropical species and now I am involved in a study with the Sooty copper butterfly (Lycaena tityrus) from Europe and western Asia. In this study i'm trying to do some work with the wing-patterns of all possible populations of this species and was thinking that the knowledgeable people from around here would be able to help me out with specimens from around Europe or even better, western Asia? The species is still flying in most places, I believe, so if anyone could collect a couple for me would be fantastic. Any chance? Cheers
